Norma Lucy Costanzo, 89, a longtime resident of Dunmore, died early Friday in the Jewish Home of Eastern PA in Scranton.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Costanzo, in 2010.

Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Enrico and Regina Giacometti Mataloni, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish. 

Surviving are her sons, Thomas Costanzo and wife Marilyn of Olyphant, and Louis Costanzo and wife Betty Ann of Dunmore; grandchildren Regina Kreiger and husband Stephen of Peckville, Thomas Costanzo, Jr. of Hoboken, NJ, Alicia Forgione and husband James of Conshohocken, Brian Costanzo and wife Amy of Dunmore, and Nick Costanzo of Dunmore; great-grandchildren Emma and Jake Costanzo, and Carolyn, Elizabeth and James Forgione; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by sisters Lena Cavaleri and Theresa Gregory.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Kenneth Sebastianelli and the staff of the Jewish Home for the care and compassion shown to Norma over these last few years. 

The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with mass at 11 a.m. in the St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith St., Dunmore.  Interment to follow in Dunmore Cemetery. 

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
