Irene, I am truly saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. It was an honor to have met and worked with you both during my time at Auntie Anne’s. I will never forget Joe’s warm, welcoming smile and the friendly disposition he always displayed toward his employees. He will be greatly missed. I express my deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Irene & family,
So sorry to hear about Joe. I doubt we are ever ready to part with those we love no matter how much time we have had with them. It sounds like you have a close & strong family and I trust that you will cling together and get through these tough days. God has given us tears and they help to bring healing although it is a slow process. I trust you have many wonderful memories that will bring a smile to your face once again.

Sending heartfelt sympathy to Irene and all of Joe's family. He was always a hero to me. I was so sad to learn of his illness and untimely death. Joe was a model for all of us--strong, steadfast and good. Our Class of '59 at South Catholic has held him in the highest esteem and grieves over his death. May your memories of his greatness and all you shared together sustain you at this time of incalculable loss. You are in our prayers.
