Eunice Wolfson Goldberg, Stroudsburg, our beloved mother passed away peacefully on Sunday.
Mom graduated from Temple University with an Associates Business Degree.
After raising three children, she had a successful career as an office manager with a major Ford dealership.
Mom retired to the Pocono Mountains where she volunteered at Pocono Medical Center Hospital and was a member of the Jewish Resource Center and Monroe County Garden Club.
She passed away at 95 years old, in excellent health (no Pharmaceutical’s) always elegantly dressed still enjoying Mah Jongg, crossword puzzles and cryptograms.
Her greatest joys in life were her children, Michael Daner and wife, Sally, New City, New York, Ron Goldberg and wife, Shoshana, Tyringham, Massachusetts, and Ellen Phraner, Stroudsburg; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Louis Wolfson, Port St. Lucie, Florida; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Minnie Ginsberg Wolfson and four siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24 in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, by Rabbi Yehuda Salkow. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery, 105 Shoemaker Road, Dalton, PA 18414.
