Eula Lee LaCapra, 78 of Dunmore, died Wednesday evening in the Community Medical Center, Scranton.

 Born in Modesto, California, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Etta Howell Grainger. She was a former resident of Norfolk, Virginia before settling in Dunmore. Prior to retirement, she worked in accounting at Parodi Cigar and Kem Plastic Playing Cards, both in Scranton.

 The family would like to give a special thank you to all the nurses and staff in the Intensive Care Unit at Community Medical Center.

 Surviving are four sons; Alan LaCapra, Jessup; Joseph Wrightson and wife Cindy, Chesapeake, VA; Bill LaCapra, Dunmore; and Gary LaCapra and wife Kristen, Dunmore; Twelve grandchildren; Dr. Cindy LaCapra, Philadelphia, Sal Bradshaw, Old Forge, Jennifer LaCapra, Scranton, Cody and Tyler Wrightson, Chesapeake, VA, Michelle LaCapra, Dunmore, Thomas, Holly and Ryan LaCapra, Clarks Summit, Rocco, Louis and ViViAnna LaCapra, Dunmore. Four great-grandchildren; Abigail, Noah, Jacob and Adrianna.  A brother, LeRoy Grainger, Sacramento, CA; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Bonnie.

 The funeral will be Saturday with services at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.  Friends may call Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to Lee's family.
I was just a young girl when I worked with Lee at Parodi Cigar and I have thought of her often and never forgotten her great sense of humor and beautiful smile. May she walk with the angels always
