Suzanne Flynn Santarsiero, 68, of Scranton died Saturday afternoon at home after an illness.  She is survived by her husband and caregiver, Daniel Santarsiero.  They had celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on May 14th.  She was the love of his life, and he was hers.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the exceptional team of doctors and health care workers that cared for Suzanne during her times of need, namely Compassionate Care Hospice in Olyphant for their kindness, especially her angel Lisa.  Also profound thanks to Dr. Cynthia Oleski and Dr. Giovanni Ramos; Dr. Georges Chamoun, his nurse practitioner Lori Talutto, and all of his staff; Dr. Michael Campenni and the staff at Moses Taylor Hospital Infusion Center, as well as Patty Joyce who always took care of her at check-in.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving sister and best friend, Donna Menichello and husband Richard; her cherished godson and other love of her life, Nico Menichello and his fiancée Sarah Marsh; her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved as if they were her own.

She also leaves behind the greatest group of girlfriends and dinner buddies, Cathy, Marilyn, Jan, Ann Marie and Betty Ann.  Last but not least, her childhood friend Cathy Mazur and the group from the Dunmore High School Reunion Committee who never passed up a chance to have an excuse to eat, drink, be happy, and talk about the old days.
