Robert J. Griffin, 89, of Moscow, passed away at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Griffin. The couple was married for 59 years.
Born in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Edward and Rose Gaylord Griffin and attended the Dunmore Public Schools. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, he was self-employed as a mason.
He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. On any given day, you would find “Grif” at the garage tinkering and spending time with anyone who visited. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert’s family would like to thank Dr. James Sheerer and the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for all of their care and compassion.
