Doris Klobusicky

On September 16, 2026, our beloved mother, Doris, passed away at UPMC Harrisburg following a courageous battle with dementia.

Doris was a graduate of Dunmore High School and proud to be born and raised in Dunmore, PA. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Jennie Scartelli Tellie and the beloved wife of the late John P. Klobusicky.

Doris faced her challenges the way she lived her life, with kindness to those around her, a big smile on her face, laughter, and dancing! Always ready with a compliment to her caregivers, often making someone’s day with her kindness. Her favorite phrase in response to an outfit she admired was “you’re poppin”! Her positive attitude in the face of fear was a testament to the quiet courage and strength she carried with her throughout her life. Doris was a most loving, supportive mother to five children and 11 grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life. Her cooking was legendary. She was employed by National Books, Dunmore, PA, for over 25 years and treasured the friendships of her coworkers there. She will be forever loved and forever missed.

She is survived by her children, John (Alana) Klobusicky of Harrisburg, Pa., Joseph (Debra) Klobusicky of Red Hill, Pa., Jeanne (John) Bojarski, Pittsburgh, PA, Caroline (James) Tourtellotte, Herndon, Va. Her grandchildren, Angela (Mike) Ruell, Liz and Joseph Klobusicky, Alex (Caitlin), Nick and Natalie Klobusicky, Sam, Caroline and Joseph Bojarski, and Gabrielle and Jimmy Tourtellotte. Great-grandchildren, Allyce, Julia and Mikey Ruell. Her most beloved sister, Geraldine (Ross) Naro, and brother, Nick (Mary) Tellie. She also leaves behind many special nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Doris was preceded in death by her son Christopher Klobusicky, brother Anthony Tellie, and niece Janis Ann Sileo.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 322 Chestnut Street, on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Dunmore Cemetery. There will be no viewing, per her wishes.
