Doris M. Coyer, 97, of Dunmore, passed away on Saturday night at her son’s home in Dunmore. Her husband, the late Daniel F. Coyer, passed away on September 24, 2006.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Rose Zaccagnino Molessa. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and a member of St. John Paul II Parish in Dunmore. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are sons, Donato Coyer and wife Carol, Vero Beach, FL., Bruce Coyer and wife Martha, Dunmore and Richard Coyer and companion Jeanne Ruane, Scranton. Grandchildren, Brook Rosetti and husband Greg, Glenburn Township and Harper Shaheen and husband Hamilton, Richmond, VA. Great-grandchildren, Daniel and Christopher Rosetti. Many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas Molessa.
The funeral will be held on Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Church,208 Smith St. in Dunmore.
Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 4-7pm at Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. in Dunmore.
