Thomas C. Biglin, 53, of Moscow died Wednesday. He and his wife, the former Donna L. Dougherty, would have celebrated 29 years of marriage on May 7th.
Born in Scranton, son of the late James and Ann Williams Biglin, he was a graduate of Bishop Klonowski and attended Luzerne County Community College. He had been employed at Allied Services Skilled Nursing in the Respiratory Therapy Department. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Moscow, and enjoyed running, biking and kayaking. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend who was always willing to help others, especially with matters concerning the elderly. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by his son, Colin Biglin and fiancée Jennifer Mason of Moscow; his sisters, Ann Marie Connors and husband Patrick of Dunmore; Laura Gagnon and husband Dan of West Palm Beach, FL; and Aileen Beyer of Scranton; his brother, James Biglin of Newton, NC; his mother-in-law, Ann Marie Dougherty of Old Forge; sisters-in-law Karen DiPipi and husband David of Old Forge; Sharon Matylewicz and husband Mark of Old Forge; and Jackie Cusano and husband Dr. Matthew of Virginia; his aunt and Godmother Kieran Williams, Dunmore and his aunt Bernice Murray, Scranton as well nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law John Dougherty; and his sister-in-law Robin Biglin.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by his cousin Rev. Donald Williams Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Church St., Moscow,
Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. to the time of mass in the church
