Rosanne Fastiggi Farris, 77, of Olyphant, passed away Monday at Allied Services Hospice Center in Scranton. She was the wife of the late Andrew J. Farris who died in 2014. 

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Vito and Rose Mary Martinelli Fastiggi, she was a graduate Dunmore High Schoo Class of 1959l and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Scranton. 

Roseanne enjoyed watching sports especially the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Eagles, Penn State Football, and the Dunmore Bucks.

Her family would like to thank Mountain View Care Center, especially B Wing for the care and compassion shown to Rosanne during her stay with them. 

Surviving are daughters, Lori Ann Farris, Olyphant, and Donna Farris, Dickson City; a sister, Lucille Fastiggi, Dunmore; a brother, Michael Fastiggi and wife Lois, Mechanicsburg; a sister-in-law, Kay Farris, Dunmore; brothers-in-law, Joseph Calamino, Dunmore, and Joseph Farris, and wife Ann, Fairport, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews,  great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Angeline Calamino, Mary Fastiggi, and Josephine Fastiggi; a brother, Canio Fastiggi; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Fastiggi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Avenue in Scranton.  Interment will take place at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. 

Friends may pay respects at the church 10 a.m. until the time of mass.

I am truly heartbroken at the loss of Rosanne. In the last four years I have gotten to have lots of long talks with her that I will cherish for a lifetime. She will forever be missed. Sending my love and prayers to the family.

Annie and I are saddened by the news of Roseanne's passing.
Our thoughts and prayers go to the entire family and know that we are thinking of everyone.
