Dunmore, PA September 6, 1942 ~ June 12, 2018 Date of Service: September 8, 2018

Robert M. Morgan, 75, of Dunmore, died peacefully on the 12th of June. He was heaven-bound with the hammer down.

Born on Sept. 6, 1942, in Taylor, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Morgan. He attended Taylor High School.

Throughout his life, "Buffalo Bob" was employed by various companies as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator, which he continued at Morgan Construction Inc., where he worked side-by-side with his son, Bob. It was truly a gift for both to be able to share that special time together. His work was his passion.

He was a member of Union Lodge 291 F&AM, Scranton. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union. He served our country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army.

He enjoyed spending time in his yard and loved gardening. Spending time with his family and grandchildren was of the utmost importance to him. Bob was loved for his sense of humor and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Vita Vaccaro Morgan; his two children, Cindy Morgan, Dunmore; and Bob Morgan and wife, Lauren, Dunmore. He was loved dearly by his grandchildren, Miller and Morgan Holmes, and Madison and Robert Morgan.

Preceding him in death were his two brothers, Art and Donnie; and his infant son, Robert Jr.

The family would like to extend its gratitude for the care provided at Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your dad. You're fortunate that your dad lived long enough to become your buddy.
