Patricia Ann Shivock, 74, Jackson Heights Apartments, West Scranton, died Thursday in Regional Hospital of Scranton after an extended illness.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline DeSantis Shivock. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Patrick's High School and before retirement was employed by McKinney Manufacturing Co. 

Pat was a beloved and devoted daughter, cousin, friend and faithful parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish.

She enjoyed trips to casinos and being with family and friends, especially during holidays.

Her family and friends would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors who cared for Pat and made her final days comfortable and filled with compassion.

She will be dearly missed by all her cousins, friends and two goddaughters, Denise Wharton and Tara Thomas, who survive. 

She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion, Joseph Albrecht.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., Scranton, by the Rev. Francis L. Pauselli. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the church Tuesday from 9 until the time of Mass.

Contributions in Pat's memory may be made to Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., Scranton, 18505.

To Pats family . Please accept my sincere sympathy
on the loss of Pat. she was a kind caring person. I worked with her at McKinney Manufacturing . she is at peace now and there is no more pain and suffering. with sympathy. Debbie Roth

Sid and family, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I enjoyed spending Christmas Eve with Patsy, she will be missed.
