Marilyn J. Thomas, 80, Taylor, died Monday at Allied Skilled Nursing Center.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Maruele Johns Thomas. She was a graduate of Taylor High School, and before retirement, was employed at McKinney Manufacturing Co. She was a member of the United Baptist Church, Taylor.

She enjoyed traveling, was an avid bowler in several leagues and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving are a sister, Judith A. Levan and husband, Arthur; a brother, James M. Thomas and wife, Carol, all of Taylor; a brother, Reese J. Thomas and wife, Betsy, Moosic; a sister-in-law, Ruth Thomas, Bethlehem; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard J. "Sag" Thomas.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, by the Rev. David Barrett, pastor of United Baptist Church, Taylor.

Entombment in the Cathedral Cemetery Mausoleum.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorial contributions may be made to the United Baptist Church, 125 Church St., Taylor, PA 18517.

We will always remember how good you were to all of the Richard Thomas children we were grateful for having you as a aunt and will never forget you aunt Marilyn love Judi Thomas and family
