Lucille A. Pasqualichio, 81, of Dunmore, passed away surrounded by her loved ones Thursday evening in Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. Her husband, Canio L. Pasqualichio, preceded her in death on March 10, 1990.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stephen and Josephine Swietnicki Dembral, she was a graduate of Moosic High School class of 1954 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Scranton, where she had formerly served as a Eucharistic minister. Prior to retirement, she had been employed by J.C. Penney as a customer service representative. Affectionately known as the Matriarch of the "Squad," Lucille loved cooking and baking, especially for her family, and also enjoyed crocheting, going out to dinner and listening to music. She had a heart of gold, and was always the last to leave a party. She was such a warm, loving and caring person who gave the best hugs, and will be dearly missed by her family.

Surviving are her daughters, Mary Ann Orr and husband, Joseph, of Dunmore; and Susan Bonsick and husband, Joseph, of Clarks Summit; her son, Richard, of Dunmore, with whom she resided; five grandchildren, Michael Orr, Mary Orr, Patrick Orr, Emily Bonsick and Anna Bonsick who lovingly called her Grandma P.O.; her sisters, Florence McGuire and husband, Donald, of Moosic; Dorothy Chieffallo, of Olyphant; Arlene Dembral-Moranville, Clarks Summit; and Theresa Kane, of Olyphant; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward Dembral.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor Avenue and East Gibson Street in Scranton. Interment to follow in Dunmore Cemetery.
