In Remembrance of Louise Betti Rinaggio

Longtime Dunmore resident, Louise Betti Rinaggio, passed
away Wednesday morning in Golden Living Nursing Home, Norwood, Massachusetts,
where she has been a resident since August. She died at the age of 87, six days
short of her 88th birthday on March 25. Her husband Dominick J.
Rinaggio died in 1984.
Born in Jessup, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and
Helen Yuhas Betti and graduated in 1944 from Throop High School. After
graduation, she went to work at the Navy shipyard in Baltimore, painting
battleships and doing other tasks during World War II. She was later employed
by Weston in Archibald, where she was an inspector for more than 20 years.
During retirement, she enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City and Las
Vegas, going out with family and friends and playing bingo.
She was a member of SS Anthony and Rocco Parish, Dunmore.
Surviving is a daughter, Beverly Ford and husband, Thomas,
Boston, MA; a grandson; Christopher Ford, Dallas, Texas; a sister; Norma Tucky, Parma, Ohio and
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard; a
sister, Dolores Kishel and a brother; Robert Betti.
The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis
Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore with Mass at 9:30am in St.
Anthony of Padua Church, Smith St., Dunmore.
Interment, Dunmore Cemetery
Friends may call Sunday from 3-6 p.m.
