Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Simon and Esther Helfant Corner, she was a graduate of Bucknell University, and before retirement, was employed as a social worker with the Lackawanna County Department of Public Assistance. She was a member of Temple Israel and was an avid reader.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Singer, Boynton Beach, a son, Alan J. Seeherman, and wife, Robin, Wynnewood, Pa.; four grandchildren, Julie Singer Brady and husband, Jason; Shellie Correa and husband, Jancy; Erin and Jessie Seeherman; four great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan and Mason Correa, and Keira Brady; a sister-in-law, Gert Seeherman, Kingston; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Cohen; and a brother, Edward Corner.
A funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, by Rabbi Joseph Mendelsohn. Interment, Temple Israel Cemetery, Dunmore.
Shiva will be observed in both Wynnewood and Boynton Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
