I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Geri Berg. She was a musical icon in Scranton and a wonderful role model for me growing up. I sang in a band with her, Lukie Wienberg and children and two boys. I have unconsciously modeled my musical life after Geri.. I play the guitar and work with Alzheimer patients and the " Special" communities. I have always sung and identified with hebrew music. I, recently spoke of Geri with one of the Weinberg sisters, Lyn. May her soul have an Aliyah and may her memory be for blessing. love snd comfort to the family.

We are all saddened to learn of Geri’s passing. She was a welcoming friend when I moved to the area. We spent countless hours on the tennis courts, which brought us great joy. Geri also showed remarkable patience as my children’s piano teacher. She was special and will be missed.
