Ann M. Pacifico, 90, Dunmore, died Saturday in the Dunmore Health Care Center. She was the widow of Daniel Pacifico, who died in 1975.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Carrara De Cresenza. She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish, Dunmore and its Altar and Rosary Society. Before retirement, she was employed as a housekeeper and child caretaker. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, whose true joy was her family. She loved gardening, growing flowers and playing cards.

Her family would like to thank the staff of the Dunmore Health Care Center and the Heartland Hospice Care Givers for all the love, care and compassion they gave to Ann.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol Galdieri and husband, Joseph, Scranton; a son, Anthony Pacifico and wife, Carol, Dunmore; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Pacifico and fiancé, Anthony Lipinski; Daniel Pacifico and companion, Mollie Calderone; and Ben Pacifico; several nieces and nephews including, Joanie Menza and Louise Brown, whom she raised; and her beloved, Christopher.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Antoinette Finelli, Sue DeCresenza and Carm Colger; and five brothers, Mike, Joe, Ralph, Tony and Frank DeCresenza. 

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment to follow in Dunmore Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Twp., PA 18411 or to the Dunmore Health Care Center Patients Activity Fund, 1000 Mill St., Dunmore, PA 18512.
