Angelica A. Marciano, 86, of Dunmore, died Monday morning in
the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, Scranton.  Her husband, Anthony Eugene Marciano died
April 23, 2011.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph
and Mary Genett Pichiarello and attended the Dunmore Public Schools. Prior to
retirement she worked as a private duty certified nurse’s  assistant.

She was a devoted catholic and a member of SS Anthony and
Rocco Parish and its Altar and Rosary Society and a former member of the
Dunmore PTA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister,  aunt and friend who enjoyed spending time
with her family.  The family wishes to
thank Dr. Cognetti and Dr. Conaboy and their nurses and staff of the Jewish
Home especially the 4th floor.  They would also like to thank the Commonwealth
Hospice of Northeast Pennsylvania for their care and compassion.

Surviving are sons; Frank and wife Noreen, Peckville;
Joseph, Missouri City, TX and Anthony and wife Kelly, San Antonio, TX.
Daughters; Mary Ellen Ball and husband Frank, Jessup and Joanne Hickey and
husband Dave, Dunmore. Grandchildren; Cara, Anthony, Anna and Joseph Marciano
and Brianna and Jacob Hickey. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by and infant daughter Eleanor;
sisters; Frances Gentile, Blanche Scavone and Ella Pichiarello and a brother,
James Pichiarello.

The funeral will be Saturday from the
Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore with
Mass at 9:30am in St. Rocco’s Church, Kurtz and Luke St. in the Bunker Hill
section of Dunmore.

Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton

Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm

Memorial Contributions may be sent to the Friendship House
Autism Services, 1509 Maple St., Scranton, Pa 18505.

To the entire Marciano family, my former ever so close neighbors. I will always remember her beautiful smile and spirit. your Mom always had a wonderful warmth and made me and everyone feel special.. truly a Special lady. she will be missed. Maybe the neighbors are having a cup of tea together in heaven...God Bless.
