Adorna M. DeAndrea, 93, of Dunmore, died Friday morning in the North Penn Manor in Wilkes-Barre.  Her husband, the late Francis DeAndrea, died in 1990.

Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Dominic and Louise Fiorin Dalbo, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School and prior to retirement was employed in the local garment industry.  She was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish and belonged to numerous social organizations in Dunmore.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family, especially Sunday dinners.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at North Penn Manor for the care and compassion shown to Adorna during her times of need.

Surviving is her son, Francis T. DeAndrea and wife Janet of Clarks Summit; her daughter, Carol Forbes and husband Douglas of Kingston; four grandchildren, Christian De Andrea and wife Sharon of Eldersburg, Md.,  Alicia Walsh and husband Michael of Center Valley, PA, Jeffrey Cantafio and wife Heather of Mendham, NJ, and Jenifer Gilmore and husband Ryan of Haddonfield, NJ; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophia, Caleb, Declan, Keria, Reece, Bryson, Grady, Griffin, and Gwyneth.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Fay Dalbo; and brothers Anthony, Peter, and Edward Dalbo.

 The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith St., Dunmore. Interment to follow  in Dunmore Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday 4-7 p.m.

Dear Fran, Carol and Family,
Sorry I can not be with you at this time I just had a knee replacement, know that I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.Adorna was such a sweetheart.
