Elizabeth L. “Betty” Enkulenko, 91, Dunmore, died Friday in Dunmore Healthcare.

She was the widow  of George Enkulenko who died in 1981.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marie Schmaltz Sartor.

She attended Scranton Public Schools and was a member of St. Paul’s Church and it’s Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed playing bingo and socializing with friends at Dunmore Healthcare.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Douglas Klamp and the staff of the Dunmore Healthcare for all there dedicated care.

Surviving are a daughter, Ann Marie Barth, Dunmore, a son, George Enkulenko Jr. and his wife Marie, Scranton.  Grandchildren, Richard Barth and wife, Heidi, Dunmore, Geoffrey Enkulenko Dunmore and his finance Jean Marie Pugh, and Emily Enkulenko, Scranton, great-grandchildren Alexa and Conor Barth. A brother Ben Sartor, Throop, A sister-in-law and brother in-law, Marge and Michael Mashurak Sr., Dunmore and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christine Barth who died March 17, 1998, a nephew Michael Mashurak Jr. and a brother Robert Sartor.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore with mass at 9:30 A.M. in St. Paul’s Church, Penn Ave. Scranton. Interment  in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 8:00 P.M.

Ann Marie, George, and families,

I just heard about your mother, Aunt Betty, going home to the Lord. Please accept my sincere sympathy. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
