Josephine M. Flynn, Dunmore, died Tuesday morning in the Dunmore Health Care Center.  She was the wife of the late Robert D. Flynn who died August 16, 2008.

 Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late Anthony and Susan Quici Tancredo, she was educated in Dunmore schools and was a member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish in Dunmore. Prior to retirement, she worked as a seamstress at T & T Fashions in Dunmore.  She enjoyed baking for her family and friends, and cherished spending times with her beloved family, especially her grandson Nico. 

 Surviving are daughters Suzanne Santarsiero and husband Dan, Scranton, and Donna Menichello and husband Richard, Scranton; grandson Nico Menichello, Scranton; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Pauline Bogda and brothers Ralph and Chris Tancredo.

 The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with mass at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith St., Dunmore.  Entombment in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.  Friends may call in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m.

my deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Josphine was wonderful & kind person. i have some great fond memories of Josephine, i have spent much fun times being at her house with Donna & Suzanne. We were best of friends. Thoughts & prayers are with you always.

I was so sorry to hear the news about your Mother. Your Mother was a very special person, always giving and trying to make other people happy. I have wonderful memories of her and the times our families spent together.
