Mary C. Cieciorka, 83, of Dunmore, died Tuesday, at the Community Medical Center, Scranton. Her husband, Matthew Cieciorka died in August of 1988.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hovanecs Pavuk and a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Scranton. She was retired from Supermarket services where she worked for many years in the warehouse. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are three sons; Ronald and fiancé Patrice, Dunmore; Mark and fiancé Annmarie, Throop; Kenneth and fiancé Marcy, Dunmore

One brother; Michael Pavuk, Easton; Five sisters; Anna Mae Zikosky, Exeter; Shirley Winslow, Susan Matticks, Irene Sleboda, all of Dunmore and Joan Novak, Virginia.

Six grandchildren; Nicole, Ryan, Kala, Marissa, Briana and Lexi Cieciorka

She was preceded in death by three sisters; Thresea Walczak, Alberta Kazmakites and Barbara Pavuk

The funeral will be Saturday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. , Dunmore with Mass at 9:30a.m. In Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor Ave., Scranton.

Interment, Dunmore Cemetery

Friends may call Friday from 4-7p.m.

You don't get over it, you just get through it. Your don't get by it, because you can't get around it. It doesn't 'get better'; it just gets different. Everyday... Grief puts on a new face.... Thinking of you in this time of grief.

We will miss her laugh and sense of humor ... but she will live long in the memories of those who love our Auntie Mamie.
