 Carmella A. Beresovoy, 70, Scranton, died Wednesday afternoon in the Regional Hospital of Scranton.  She and her husband, Richard A. Beresovoy, Sr. celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on June 1, 2011.

 Born in Scranton and raised in Dunmore, daughter of the late Daniel and Antoinette Ranella LoRusso, she attended Dunmore public schools. 

 The family would like to thank Dr. Patrick Conaboy, Dr. Thomas Roe, Dr. L.Von Koch, and the entire staff of the intensive care unit at the Regional Hospital of Scranton, in addition to the staff and nurses at the Golden Living Center for all of the care and compassion shown to Carmella.

 Also surviving is a daughter Suzanne Beresovoy, at home; a son Richard A. Beresovoy, Scranton; a brother Thomas “Lash” LoRusso, Lake Winola and a brother-in-law Louis Beresovoy, CA; as well as aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Florence.

  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore.  Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service.  Interment, Holy Family Cemetery, Throop, will occur at a future date. 

 In lieu of flowers, preferred memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Living Center, 824 Adams Ave., 18510.

To my cousin Carmella's family I want to say how sorry I am that she passed away and how much she resembled her mother. To my cousin Tommy I'm sorry about your sister , when ever I met her she was so sweet to talk to , again I'm sorry for your loss .
